Integrity: being worthy of trust.

“Trust me!”

Depending on who is saying those words will reflect the level of trust they are actually given. For example, a business mentor with integrity who has earned your trust and is giving you advice, you’re likely to trust them. A business that has fallen through on their promises to deliver several times, you’re likely to be a little more skeptical. So much of how we succeed as people in business has to do with the level of trust we’ve earned, and the root of that is integrity.

Amplify Consulting Inc. has four core values: flexible, creative, common sense, and integrity. For me, integrity is number one. Integrity in the workplace comes in many forms, but above all, I believe it refers to having an upstanding work ethic, sound judgement, honesty, and loyalty.

C.S. Lewis said it best, “Integrity is doing the right thing. Even when no one is watching.”

When a business stands with integrity, it has the opportunity to build incredible trust and loyalty with clients, partners, and stakeholders. We ask that our clients give us their implicit trust, and we know that the trust only comes by actually being worthy of their trust. We further build the confidence of our clients by doing what we say and acting with integrity, amplifying a healthy reputation, a fantastic relationship, and stronger results.

Trust is like the air we breathe – when it’s present, nobody really notices; when it’s absent, everybody notices.” Warren Buffett

As an organization we know our collective integrity impacts our clients. As a team, our individual commitment to integrity impacts our coworkers. Integrity is essential to building the circle of trust and I know that working and living with integrity helps me sleep at night.

Integrity is the difference between good and GREAT! Make integrity a core value of your company and work to consistently be a great model of integrity in your business and in life.
